Parijat expereince at Mumbai airport

We were waiting at the airport for Manu to arrive. The mumbai airport has been tremendously redone, it looks modern, a much different place from wah tit used to look couple of years back, a pleasant change. Well, we reached at 1245am, Manu as usual doe not have any phone contact, so we have no information about his coming. There are thousands of people who have come to receive their near and dear ones. Probably 4-5 persons per passanger and that makes a small are at arrival look like a Mela. We checked all across, there are two sides from where people are coming , so one can not go and spread out to check for your passenger. Pareen kept standing for almost 2 hours, anxiously waiting and both me and Meena had their turns on sitting in the railing. Finally at 230am Manu arrives, what a handsome man he looks and Meena is so delighted seeing him and so all of us. We hug him and check why was he so late and he tells its late because of mom insistence to get the broken lap top for which the custom officer was asking for a $ 300 custom duty, he had another lap top that he uses for his work, the second one Meena asked him to bring if we can get it repaired in India. After much argument, when he asked for an off line payment of $100, Manu tells him that he has only $5 in his purse, which he shows him, the custom officer let him go with out making any payment.

Is there a role of destiny in one's life?

Is it destined where you go in life, can one be sure of whether it has any role to play? Many times there are instances that tell you that whatever you may be doing , it's destined that way, the universe is throwing signs in the direction, yet one can not be sure of the whether the destiny takes the route or man makes his own route and the events follow. As a student of philosophy, I have been trying to find answers to the question. There are many events that led to the outcomes seemed predestined in each individual's life yet many a times it seems that we are trying to associate events with the outcome and one is primarily leading the path. Squash and its effect on me

In the morning , when playing squash, the court attendant often comments on my stamina and the way I have maintained self. He knows my age and often quotes to others that how due to being regular in squash, I have maintained myself at least younger by 5 years.

Today he commented that I am looking totally fresh and then there are other people in the court who mentioned that the reason of my good health is not squash but that I do not take much tension in life.

My own view on this issue is that tension no body wishes to take , all want to avoid it , it comes on its own in every one's life and there are few who know how to overcome. They are the ones who are enlightened ones. We all can get this enlightenment but I believe its built into your genes and personality. May be the past life experience and early childhood has some role to play in it!

How wrong the assessment of the friends could be on this issue, yet some of them were right that I am blessed with a good partner who takes all the tension on my behalf. Very true indeed, Meena has been a rock solid support in my life, taking all the problems of the house hold and of the kids, making me free to do my job in office free of any home worries

A New learning

How the life has changed and how one wonders that how much will it change in next few years. just three months back I asked Parijat that what was he doing. As a father, I am concerned about how is he spending his time in San Francisco, where he has gone to do his MS. As usual his reply was evasive and he directed me to go on a site Twitter to find out what was he doing. he was not much active on the site and then later on I tried to learn more about it and found it to be a rage in the whole world, yet I could not discover the full potential of it though I was sure that there must be some thing great in the site that i have not been able to find. I have found that now, its a great concept and really wonderful utility, you can follow up world leaders and their thought as if you are sharing your life with some of the greatest like Robin Sharma Deepak Chopra, Obama, Al Gore to name a few, what a wonderful site and what a wonderful experience of learning!

Cattle Class controversy on Shashi's innocuous remarks is blowing unnecessarily. Is it a political move to nail down an able young man? and some times I wonder the controversies are as big as the stature of the man!

Nevertheless Shashi as well as many others have learnt a lesson and it makes the world wiser

One of the questions that has been bothering me for quite some days is whether God exists. In your lifespan you come across lots of incidence which are pointers towards the existence of God and you wonder whether you require still some more proof. At the same time you also come across a number of such randomly occurring incidences that defy this logic and make you wonder whether all the proofs that you have been talking about are mere coincidences.

Just to give an example, I wonder how can we believe on the existence of God when you see mass murders of innocent people happening everywhere. One can point to the fact that the killed persons were destined to this fate as per Karma's theory but how can one believe in this logic when innocent children and infants are killed? One wonders where was God when over 6 million Jews were killed by Hitler, children included in this mass annihilation?

I have tried to find answer to this question in some religious scriptures, some do give an explanation to the fact and may be its yet beyond my comprhension, I am still looking for some simple answer.
